Product description:
Lampivaara Amethyst Mine is a unique attraction In Lapland. This real and special gem mine is located on the top of a fell in the middle of national park. The geological age of the area is billions of years. The view at and from the mine is breathtaking and the site beams positive energy stored in stones. Amethyst Mine is operating in extraordinary way: no big machines are used for digging and none of the rich deposit is sold as a raw material. The sustainable Amethyst Mine is welcoming visitors all year round.

Duration of the program is about 1 hour. Dig your own gem stone of Lapland, purple amethyst, during your visit to Amethyst Mine. On the top of Lampivaara hill you can admire maybe the most beautiful landscape of the area. Upon the arrival refreshing berry juice will be served. During the storytelling moment you will learn about this fascinating stone and how it was formed more than 2000 million years ago.

Afterwards everyone may search and dig own amethyst stone and take it with as a memento. There is small amethyst shop on the site where you can buy amethyst products after the tour. Locally made amethyst jewellery is not sold anywhere else. One can also become owner of the mine by purchasing a share with a certificate actualized as an original etching.
